Dr. Karen Reimers is a board-certified psychiatrist who provides consultation and expert services in complex clinical and legal matters involving older adults. Her work focuses on testamentary capacity, undue influence, and contested wills and trusts. She is the author of The Clinician’s Guide to Geriatric Forensic Evaluations and presents nationally on capacity and elder financial exploitation.

In addition to her forensic consultation practice, she collaborates with physicians and primary care teams in complex clinical cases.

Dr. Reimers is active in academic teaching, invited speaking, editorial work, and scholarship, including leadership activities in Positive Psychiatry. She serves as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Central Florida and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Minnesota.
